Votoms

I'm writing description about a picture taken last month.
It's delayed.

I stayed in Yokohama for a week in order to sell our beer.
The place is former warehouse built with red brick.
Often some events are held at there.
During our beer event, the robot hero is standing.
Its name is Scopedog from TV carton Votoms that I watched when I was child.

Old Market

Decades of ago, there was a vegetable market underneath the JR line in Akihabara.

This shot is the evidence.

Nakau

Nakau is also large Japanese budget diner chain.

It is famous as deals fine Oyakodon.

"Oyako" means parents and chirldren.

Oyakodon is cooked from chicken and egg.

Relation between chicken and egg is able to called "Oyako."

Though I don't know whether foreign people like or not about half cooked egg, it is one of my favorite.

Ten-Ya

Ten Ya is the largest Tendon shop chain group.

Tendon is simply rice bowl with tempra.

You can enjoy genuin with budget price if you visited there.

There are many shops in central Tokyo.

We can easily find it.

Must to try it.

Kanda-Jimbocho

I walked from Jimbochou to Kanda district yesterday.

Many second hand book shops are placed around Jimbochou.

I'm glad that I could find out some old house remains still now.

Vladivostok

The sign of Vladivostok Air's Tokyo bureau.

We can go to Russia only 90 min.

Russia is also our neighborhood nation.

But we should depart from Niigata, not from Tokyo.

E-510

I bought a camera in second hand to train myself.

It is Olympus E-510, I guess enought to begin with it.

I wrote also at previous post that I need to learn how to use camera for my new job.

Almost of photos in previous posts are taken with my Motorola cell phone.

But since now, htey will be taken with E-510.

Escape to Thailand

Often, I escape from actual life of advanced city.
But, this made me remind that my home town is slightly nice.
It is my 4th (or 5th? I don't remember...) trip to Thailand.
And it's the first time to go to world heritage Ayutthaya.

I'd like to you all just look at these photos.
And don't forget that this blog is for travelers toward to Tokyo.
It is not my trip record...

Hibiya Park

An oktoberfest is held in Tokyo, may at here Hibiya Park.
This was the first time for me as manager of beer shop.
I could not afford to take photos.
So I upload only this before set up the site.

There is nice place and you tourist can take a fine rest while Tokyo traveling.

"Hanami" is Japanese traditional banquet which held under the cherry blossom.

Getting better position of Hanami party is one of first important job for rookies of many companies.
I didn't do Hanami party this year.

Underneath the Capitol

Kokkai-Gijido station is underneath the important area of Japan's government.

The name of this station means Diet building or Capitol house in Japanese.

Few people believe a rumor that this subway station is able to be used as nuclear shelter if it the war would be occurred.

Any traffic lines can't across under the Imperial Palace.

This project was planned before collapsing of world economy.

Cats in 53 cities

This is an 'Ukiyoe' painted about cats in 53 towns on Tokai-do street.

There were 53 post towns on Tokai-do street between Edo(old Tokyo) and Kyoto(old capital).

An Ukiyoe painter Kuniyoshi Utagawa was cat lover and expressed cats in these towns.
